Meeples & Miniatures – Interview with Rich Jones

Download Rich Jones Interview

Welcome to another Meeples & Miniatures interview.

In this show, I chat to freelance gamer, rules author and surfer dude, Rich Jones.

Rich is pretty well known on the gaming circuit, and has had his finger in many pies, including Two Hour Wargames, Ambush Alley and Songs of Blades and Heroes, to name a few. However, he is still probably best known for the time he spent and a major part of the production team of Wargames Journal magazine.

We chat about Rich’s gaming background, various projects he’s worked on over the years and what he’s up to now.

However, since he’s lived in Australia for several years, I did completely fail to ask him the most vital of questions – who was he supporting in the Ashes Test series?

Maybe next time…

  1. Pretty easy one … don’t follow cricket!
Seriously though I always go for England over Ozzie land in everything but tennis!

  2. Are you sure you don’t want to change your team for the cricket, lol. I really enjoyed the podcast. It is great to heard about the industry from the inside. It’s nice to heard that a hobby such as this can bring enjoyment. It must of been hard to see a project that you have worked so hard on go by the way side, but I’m glad to see that you have not been left embittered by it and I wish you all the best in your future projects. I too understand your love for the two hour wargames rules as they are a great mechanics and fun to play once you understand them.

    All the best

  3. Thanks mate …
