Slightly delayed from the weekend, but it’s finally here: the first Incoming! episode of 2010!

    Red Star continues to impress.

    All The King’s Men 54mm mounted don’t impress me at all, however. They resemble human mannequins sitting (badly) on equine mannequins. Bad swords, stilted poses and anatomy. Plastic figures from 30 years ago looked better, and so do tons of 15mm. Are they deliberately going for a retro dodgy toy soldier look? If so, I’ve done them an injustice (but I still think they’re ordinary.)

        Yes and no.

        I think you are right – from what I’ve seen of their infantry, the retro-toy-soldier is exactly the lok they are going for.

        It just depends on whether that appeals or not…
