Welcome to Episode 74 of the Meeples & Minaitures Podcast.

In this show, I’m joined once again by Rich Jones for a wide ranging discussion on various topics.

During our dicussion, we look back at Salute 2011, and also discuss several rulesets, including 7TV, Red Sand Blue Sky, Operation Squad, The Beautiful Game & Bushi No Yume.

We hope you enjoy the show

  1. Played this for the 2nd time today. Enjoyed the retro TV game & chat section the most, closely followed by the samurai game talk. In particular I found the newsy bit about the possibly upcoming solitaire samurai game intriguing – the lone samurai who goes around testing himself (largely in combat). Has great potential for solo play, with roleplay and campaign options, and even reminds me in a good way of a sort of samurai Pick a Path to Adventure story/game. Has great storytelling scope for daimyo, ronin, ninja characters etc. That stuff about the anti-yari armour was interesting too – would like to see a pic of that.

    Cheers! 🙂

  2. You mentioned a manufacturer of 1/72 and 1/32 plastic gladiators and chariots. Do you have a link?

    Thanks for another great show.
