New Podcast Sponsors

Following my appeal for new podcast / website sponsors in Episode 82 of the podcast, I am very pleased to announce that the following companies have agreed to sponsor the podcast:

Richard Clarke of Too Fat Lardies has been a listener to the show for a while, and is one of the shows popular guests.

Too Fat Lardies is one of my favourite rules publishers, including titles such as Sharpe Practice, Charlie Don’t Surf and I Ain’t Been Shot Mum.

Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy is one of my favourite wargames magazines, and has been steadily improving even more since it reappeared on our shelves last year.

Coat d’Arms paints have been my acrylic paints of choice for over 20 years.

A huge ‘Thank You’ to all these companies for supporting the podcast.

Please help support the podcast by supporting these companies.

Good news re finding sponsors, but does this mean you can no longer review their products? Although one answer might be a guest reviewer for these ?

    • Not at all Roger. Richard Clarke especially was very keen to stress that his sponsorship of the podcast & website should in no way be regarded as having editorial influence or preference – he stressed to me that my reviews should stay independent & objective, and to be honest, if a sponsor required me to show preference, then I wouldn’t take them on.
It just so happens that in the cases of these companies, I am dealing with products of which I am already a fan…

      Hope that clarifies the position.

  2. That’s great news Mr Quake…especially given that all 3 are of the highest quality in their fields. Here’s to the next 83 inspiring episodes!!

  4. Il have to pick up a few of those coat d`arms paints i also have old pots from the late 80`s 90`s that still work fine.i use a lot of the vallejo paints but then il use anything bar the current GW pots .the hard plastic lids are pretty useless at forming any kind of airtight seal .
