Meeples & Miniatures – Episode 113 – Godslayer & Judge Dredd Miniatures Game
Welcome to Episode 113 of the Meeples & Miniatures Podcast
On this show I am joined by co-hosts Mike Hobbs and Mike Whitaker.
I chat with Mike H about Godslayer, a new ‘warband’ style fantasy skirmish game he’s been playing. After that we are joined by Mike W to talk about the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game.
We hope you enjoy the show.
During the show we talk about some Worldworks Games terrain being used by Mike W’s club to play Judge Dredd. Here is an example of the terrain:
We also talked about the Manta Prowl Tank that Mike H had been painting – here it is in all it’s glory:
Haven’t finished listening to the entire podcast yet but .. could the Judge Dredd rules be easily adapted to other themes/universes ??
Despite reading 2000AD, JD being my first ever RPG experience (many moons ago) and the recent Karl Urban movie being quite good I’m still not overly taken by the world of Mega-City One and its Block Wars.
the basic mechanics would work in other settings (of a similar genre) and the campaign system could be tweaked to work as well. but it might be a lot of work
I am so glad I found your podcast. I have been on the fence about playing Dredd as there were some rule questions that I felt could make or break the game and they were all answered here. I am off to buy the game today. What worldworks terrain did your guests use for their 4×4 mega city block?
