Battle Systems launches Sci-Fi modular terrain Kickstarter

Battle Systems have just launched a new Kickstarter project for indoor sci-fi modular terrain, which is all pre-painted, and can be assembled in multiple ways.

The set-up above is their ‘Sweet Spot’ pledge: STRONGHOLD, which gives you the all the above terrain (before stretch goals) for £70 +P&P. This terrain covers a 2′ x 2′ board (each square is approx 25mm/ 1″), which makes it almost ideal for games such a Deadzone- this gives an interior board rather than an exterior one – or perhaps Space Hulk, or any sort of Aliens-style game.

This looks like a tremendous product, and is very, very tempting.

You can find out more by visiting Battle Systems Kickstarter page.

  1. Looks ok .. perhaps a little too cheap though.
As we’re in the mood for KS terrain how about this one: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/736875383/infinite-crypt-modular-terrain-for-underworld-arch

    • have to say I kind of like this, can see it being very useful for Judge Dredd games

    • That KS looks nice, but it’s fantasy, which isn’t really what I’m into at present.

Don’t quite get what you mean when you say ‘too cheap’ – I’m assuming that you do not like the quality?

        Yes, I’m afraid so.

      • if its anything like the terraclips terrain then I think it’ll do well, I’ve never been a fan of card based terrain as generally you have to print it yourself and that costs a fortune but terraclips has converted me. for the flexibility of modular terrain that covers a multi-level 2 x 2 board you cant beat this stuff

Looked at that yesterday Neil, you have now convinced me. This happens all the time when I listen to you or read your posts.
