    Hey guys. Great show.

I can’t comment on women in miniatures games, because I don’t know any (board games and RPGs, yes), but I can address 20-somethings playing historicals.

I am, like most historical gamers I know, 45+ and male. I play with 2 guys in their early twenties.

If they are sometimes taken lightly at first by their older opponents, that quickly passes. They are both active duty US Marines, and therefore trained in small unit tactics – both in the classroom and in the field. They will kick your butt at any game where real world tactics work well.

We get a lot of military at my local game store, as it is right across the street from Marine Base Miramar. You may know it by it’s previous name, when the Navy owned it – Top Gun.

  3. Great show, when of the best yet.

  4. Really enjoyed this show, listening to Annie was a treat, very encouraging for an “old fart” wargamer like me. I hope she goes from strength to strength with her business and hobby 🙂
