Great show and thanks to Mr Hobbs for volunteering for the Joy of Six show.
We fly over to the show each year from (effectively showless) NI so it is about £200 before we even get there but any other show on the mainland would be as expensive so we might as well go to the big one. It tends to be a shopping trip more than anything else, I guess I must spend half of my years gaming budget at Salute. I do try to look at the games but that is a distant secondary consideration, participation games don’t even enter the equation, there is simply not enough time for them.
I knew the theme was steampunk but I saw no more of it than in any other year but again I miss an awful lot of the games. My brother did comment that he thought it was not as interesting as last year.
Perhaps the committee should consider a prize for the best game “on theme”.
