Painting Update – w/e 22nd May 2016

Whilst I’m meant to be taking a mini-break from hobby time, the imminent arrival of Operation Market Larden #4 meant that I ended up painting this week after all (It was something to do whilst listening to the cricket!). Actually, I managed to get several models finished:

Finished my third 15mm Plastic Soldier Company Marder III, so I now have the full forces I need for the OML4 scenario we are running in a couple of weeks.

I also finished three emplacements, which we will be using as ‘dug in’ markers for AFVs, should we need them. These are from Ironclad Miniatures.

Lastly (and perhaps most pleasing) I finally finished painting those Plastic Soldier Company Panzer IVs (15mm). They have been sat on the side of the painting desk for several weeks now, but after painting the camo on the Marder III last Thursday, I regaining my AFV mojo and got cracking on these as well.

Finishing these PZ IVs means that I have now completed painting all the forces I need for the Red Devils in the Night scenario book. Time to look at the painting list for what I have left to paint for Kampfgrupe Von Luck.

Neil, great job. I am cracking on with my Afrika Korps figs and purchased some warlord SAS at Partizen where I was hoping to introduce myself!
O do not know how to upload my photo progress but carry on regardless ( is that a film!).
Hope everything is ok with you and your family and look forward to you returning from your hiatus.

Well done for finishing them, I hope they bring you success on the table!
I am continuing with my Afrika Korps although I do not know how to upload the pictures! I had planned to introduce myself at Partizen. I have increased my resin pile with the purchase of the SAS behind the lines set whilst there.
Hope all is ok with you and the family. Listen to you soon.

Oh and I have purchased Sharp Practice to paint up my 1755-59 FIW figures!
I spent more than Mike at Salute lol!
