Oh, and that video clip of the Cuirassier charge we were going on about
Thanks for covering my comments on squares at Waterloo 2015. Mike commented that at the first whiff of cavalry you form square. Well, the follow-up was that the “brigade” remained in square doing diddly-squat to counter OUR OWN Dutch cavalry returning to the lines. Wearing the French-style shako nobody was sure who they were, echoing Wellington’s own protest about the British light cavalry uniform reforms.
Love listening to Annie – she has a really endearing infectious personality. 🙂
Cheers
Ditto Snowcat! Passed a long drive listening to the show and found her charming as always. It’s always good to hear people succeeding doing something they love, and having the courage to scale back in favour of life balance.
I was, however, saddened to hear that Kickstarter really is the go to venue for many new releases and that smaller businesses like Annie’s really have no option but to go that route. I guess I just don’t have the ‘early adopter’ gene.
