Lockdown painting update – May 2020
It’s been a while since I shared anything hobby related. Many of us have taken advantage of some of the extra time we have found on our hands during this period of lockdown to make some progress on hobby projects.
I have been no different, though my painting productivity has been through many peaks and troughs during the past several weeks.
You may remember that, in addition to several figures for Rangers of Shadow Deep, I was painting an undead army for Saga: Age of Magic. At the end of January I had painted a number of zombies, plus two lots of skeletal warriors (below)
I am pleased to report that I have finally completed the army – well, apart from a few more zombies that I need to finish, because a zombie horde is 20 models in S:AoM rather than 12, but who’s counting?
For infantry, we have another 16 warriors, plus 16 archers
We then have 12 Undead Knights
And finally, a command group with Standard Bearer, Musician, Heroes and a Magician, followed by a Necromancer with a Vampire Lord in human and beast form.
Admittedly this is not the largest army in the world, but at least I can say that I achieved something during lockdown!
They look great! Huzzah, well done you. Another painted army in the locker is always a good thing.
