Goblin Infantry finished – Hobby Update 17th February 2021

Well, I say finished. They are almost finished – one thing remains to be done, as you will see.

The weekend saw the completion of painting my Oathmark Goblin Infantry. These have now been based and are pretty much ready for battle.

First up is a group of 5 Goblins wielding dual weapons. These were something of an afterthought, to be honest. I had a sprue left and was wondering what to do with it, so decided to create these as a small group of elite warriors, or maybe they could be used as champions…

Then we have 5 standard bearers – this is where the almost comes in, as I have yet to create and attach the banners. To be honest, I am still deciding what icon I will use for these, so it may be a while before they are finally complete.

Once the plastics were finished it was into the metal character figures. These are the Goblin Champions

Finally we have a Goblin Shaman, General and Musician.

I am really happy to get these finished. Although progress has been pretty speedy, I will be glad to move on to painting something different, although I can’t quite move on to the next army yet, as there is the small matter of 35 Goblin Wolf Riders to paint, and the army won’t be fully complete until after the Goblin Light Infantry box is released later this year – I would imagine that this will contain figures for the Goblin Slave units for Oathmark.
